The National Home Improvement Council (NHIC) is delighted to announce the appointment of Sandy MacGregor, GB Regional Director at Energystore, as the new Chairman of the NHIC Educational Trust. With this appointment, Sandy MacGregor also assumes the role of Non-Executive Director on the NHIC Board.
Sandy MacGregor is a seasoned and innovative business manager, currently serving as the GB Regional Director at Energystore. In his role, he is responsible for UK sales and operations, and he represents these interests on the Energystore Board. Sandy has been instrumental in shaping Energystore’s business and reputation in Great Britain, driving the company’s commitment to developing and installing products that enhance energy efficiency and create a cleaner environment.
Sandy MacGregor expressed his enthusiasm for his new role, stating, “The NHIC and the NHIC Educational Trust have a fantastic reputation within the industry, and I am very grateful to be appointed as Chairman of the Educational Trust to enable me to contribute to the important role they have to play in the sector. There is a need, and also desire, from people to reduce the energy demand of their homes. I believe the NHIC and the Trust have a key role to play in educating people about what the opportunities for home energy reduction are, as well as what good looks like when it comes to the delivery of these home improvements.
There is also an opportunity for the Trust to contribute to the green skills agenda and show how high-quality training can lead to the correct standard of work being completed on people’s homes. I am very much looking forward to working closely with the Trustees and the NHIC board to deliver the goals of the NHIC and the NHIC Educational Trust.”
Anna Scothern, CEO of the NHIC, commented, “We are thrilled to welcome Sandy MacGregor as the Chairman of the NHIC Educational Trust. His innovative vision and dedication to improving energy efficiency and sustainability perfectly align with our mission. We are confident that Sandy will make a significant impact in his new role and look forward to the advancements he will bring.”
